Doctors are one of the most difficult markets to reach because they have many gatekeepers, and rarely answer their own phone or email.
As a result, we needed to get content in front of doctors that they not only enjoyed, but that they desperately looked forward to.
Although we were successful in generating high open rates for our email newsletter, our sales emails failed to generate leads. This was at the same time Gmail began separating promotional content from people's "Primary" inboxes.
As a result, we decided to mail free sample of Triple i Rx Pads to each doctor on our list, after they signed up for them. After receiving their initial free sample, our email marketing program started generating sales, and we finally had an ROI-driving marketing system in place.
